Hey L.A., this weekend's your last chance to check out doubleheader 'Bob Mizer & Tom of Finland' at the MOCA Pacific Design Center. This first American exhibition devoted to the unbridled erotica of two of the granddaddies of gay culture takes a rigorous look at their photos, drawings and collage work.

25-year-old artist Tommy Kha tackles serious subjects (racism, identity, body issues, etc) with a very light touch. Humor plays an important role in Tommy's photography, but even more so in his videos, such as this poolside excerpt from 'Same Difference'.

After several years in Berlin, deejay slash song maker Jeffrey Sfire recently found himself back behind the wheel in the USA. Single and fancy-free, he's been getting out more and playing some of his favorite records (like a very dramatic Italo Disco set at 7 A.M. on New Year's Day in the company of so many bottoms and daddies in San Francisco). Visitors of this website might recall Jeffrey's 'Synare Jam' on the Butt Bias Mixtape. This week, he's sharing another slice of electrified paradise courtesy of our mutual friends at Cocktail d'Amore Music: an eight-minute new wave track, 'Sfire 2', with a killer snare drum and Jeffrey on vox.

Oh fuck, it's Christmas again. Naughty BT from Melbourne, Florida has been sending in photos of his butt — in various jockstraps, with or without touches of leather, in a sassy tropical thong, posing in a cowboy hat, sporting little but a shamrock for Saint Patrick's Day — from every angle imaginable since last summer. Today seemed like the right time to drop one of his holiday-themed butt shots.

Steven Warwick grew up in the idyllic English countryside about an hour north of London. As a kid, he played in guitar bands, finding it easy picking up all the parts by rote. Besides his busted and trusted Casiotone keyboard, Steven also plays drums, guitar and bass. As Heatsick, he's been bringing a refreshing kind of nonchalance and sense of humor — which are, for the most part, in short supply in the electronic music scene — to the table since 2007. I caught up with him at my local pub, The Nelson's Head, on the eve of his up-coming show with BUTT here in London.

When I met up with 37-year-old Grindr founder and CEO Joel Simkhai at his office in L.A., he didn't seem too concerned that young men in clubs — many without a clue how to pickup in the flesh — are all just staring into their smartphones these days. Why would he? Grindr turned four this year and is still the most popular location-based dating app around. The app was treated to an extreme makeover this fall (some loyal fans are still grumbling). The logo, initially inspired by tribal masks of Africa and Polynesia, had those buck teeth pulled, which makes it look less like Jason Voorhees' hockey mask from Friday the 13th and a bit more like the Dark Knight.

Every now and then, BUTT gets a set of playful piss and/or foreskin photos from Munich fashion student, Daniel. Mostly, the guys in Daniel's tumblr seem elated, half-stoned or drunk, and are styled in some kooky outfit that involves handcrafted cockrings or flaps of fabric — what is it about fashion students and the ubiquitous flap?
