Isn't my buddy Tuck the most handsome beefcake FTM heartthrob in the world? Despite his ripped cowbody exterior, there is a whole different side of Tuck. He'd rather spend evenings gossiping and baking sweet desert treats at home than cruising in bars. The first time we hung out together, Tuck brought over all the ingredients for homemade double fudge brownies and a Hannah Montana balloon as a token of his friendship.

Photographer Kohey sent us this picture of his strikingly handsome Indian friend 'Mr. R' taken last summer near Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Kohey says that Mr. R is very much the strong and silent type, but also quite charming.

'Rainbow Skate' is held every Wednesday night at the Redwood Roller Rink in Redwood City, just twenty minutes south of San Francisco. It’s hosted 'primarily, but not exclusively, for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Communities.' If you’re in town please don’t confuse this night with 'contemporary Christian music' night on Tuesdays. The first Rainbow Skate of the month is eighties night, while the last is underwear night. Some friends and I attended April’s underwear night and skated to the likes of Abba and Britney, and of course Ru Paul’s new single “Covergirl” because God only knows we haven’t heard that song enough on his drag queen reality show. (I’m not gonna lie though, I screamed when it came on, although I was confused as to why BeBe’s rap wasn’t in the mix as promised on the show’s season finale. That pissed me off.)

I first learned about David Wojnarowicz when I searched for 'gay' and 'art' on the Internet. I was 16 and David had died 6 years earlier during the height of the AIDS epidemic. I found passages from his rage-fueled and beautiful manifesto-cum-diary Close to the Knives online. And soon I discovered his incredible body of photos, collages, paintings, films, and performances. A few years later when I was making a film about David, his friend and band mate Julie Hair leant me a copy of their little-known but incredible East Village art-rock band 3 TEENS KILL 4. David, Julie, and their friends Jesse Hultberg, Doug Bressler, and Brian Butterick (AKA Hattie Hathaway) made this music before David was a famous artist implicated in the culture wars.

Ron Budinas and his partner Ira Stolzenberg bake muffins for the masses every day at Rainbo's, a corner shop in the Essex Market on New York's Lower East Side. The Essex Market is an indoor warehouse space populated by a variety of homespun businesses: fruit and vegetable vendors, meat marketeers, gourmet cheese shops, and a chocolatier who makes chocolate-covered bacon. But even among all these fresh delicacies Ron and Ira's muffins are a real stand-out. They're also regularly consumed in the New York BUTT office, so we wanted to find out more about these muffin men.

Andy lives in the UK and loves to role-play as a wrestler in the bedroom. He goes by the name ‘The Hammerlock Prowler,’ during these sex sessions. GRUF has a snippet of his plentiful ass hair removed by Sean Johnson as part of the installation Bed Tent, at the Art Trunk show in Boston in February. Participants exchanged small samples of ass hair for entry into Sean's new club — and were given a fashionable brightly colored handkerchief as a thank you.

We were truly saddened to hear that one of the greatest rock stars ever, Lux Interior, lead singer for The Cramps passed away two days ago at 52. Few sights thrilled our queer little brains more than watching this straight leather clad rockabilly punk in black high-heeled pumps rip through songs like "New Kind of Kick," and "Bikini Girls With Machine Guns."
