Gan Ha’atzmaut

Gan Ha’Atzmaut — or Independence Park — is widely known for being Israel’s number one waterfront cruising park, conveniently located near the Tel Aviv Hilton. In recent years nighttime revelers have been increasingly frightened off by uncomfortably bright lighting fixtures installed by Tel Aviv’s municipality. However, as this photograph bears witness — taken by German tourist Jürgen during a recent trip to the Holy Land — there’s still some fun left to be had.
